The success of this market is shared. We invest in promotion, and we ask every vendor to do the same.

4. Vendor Fees & Payment

This is how we match your payment to the correct market. Payments sent without this note may be delayed in processing.

Payment is due within 24 hours of your approval email because of how close we are to event day. If we do not receive it, your space may be released to another applicant.

All vendor fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be credited toward another event — including for weather, illness, scheduling conflicts, emergencies, low attendance, or removal from the event.

5. Vendor Terms & Agreement

Booth, setup, and safety requirements

  • Tent spaces are 10x10 or smaller unless approved in advance.
  • Every tent leg must be weighted at all times — 40 lb total minimum.
  • You provide all of your own equipment: tent, tables, chairs, displays, cords, signage.
  • Load-in: 8:00 AM booth / tent vendors | 9:00 AM food trucks. Vendors who arrive after their window closes will not be permitted to set up, and no refund is given.
  • Vehicles must be moved to designated parking after unloading.
  • Booth sharing is not permitted without prior written approval.
  • No open flames, alcohol, drugs, or smoking.
  • Keep walkways and emergency access clear; report any incident to our team immediately.
  • Clean your space and take all trash, boxes, and packaging with you when you leave.
  • The event is held rain or shine unless we announce otherwise.

No guarantee of sales or attendance

Approval gives your business a designated space during market hours. It is an opportunity to set up, showcase, and sell — it is not a guarantee of sales, profit, customers, or foot traffic. This market is free to attend and not ticketed, so attendance cannot be predicted in advance and is affected by weather, competing events, holidays, and the collective promotion of everyone involved.

Heritage and Hope Inc. provides the space, overall market promotion, and community exposure. Each vendor is responsible for drawing their own customers, engaging with guests, and promoting their own business. Results vary widely between businesses at the same event, and that is normal.

Conduct, media, and liability

Conduct. Vendors are expected to be present, standing, approachable, and engaged. Greet guests, start conversations, and help create a welcoming market. Where the event has a theme or community activity, vendors are expected to participate. Harassment, discrimination, aggressive or dishonest behavior, offensive language, intoxication, or illegal activity will result in removal without refund and may make you ineligible for future events.

Media release. You give Heritage and Hope Inc. and our event partners permission to photograph and record your booth, products, branding, and team for promotional, website, print, and social media use without additional compensation.

Liability. You participate at your own risk and are fully responsible for your property, equipment, inventory, employees, and guests. Heritage and Hope Inc. / Celebrate Lunar, La Bodega Markets, The Local Habit, the YMCA, the property owner, sponsors, volunteers, and partners are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property, personal injury, or business interruption, except where required by law.

Right to refuse. We may decline any application or remove any vendor who violates these terms, creates an unsafe environment, misrepresents their products, or acts in a way inconsistent with the values of this event. Removal does not entitle you to a refund.
