Claim Your Story: The Essential First Step to Authentic Leadership

We are thrilled to launch the Heritage and Hope Youth Leadership series with a deep dive into the very foundation of authentic leadership: Your Story.

Every individual is intentionally created for a purpose, and your personal journey is the vessel through which you will fulfill your calling to lead. In this dynamic, first-of-its-kind workshop, we will explore how your narrative connects directly to the unique path designed for you as an Asian-American leader.

Our time will be led by Kar-Lai Gambrioza, Cru Campus Mobilization Director, who has experience in leading teams and organizations and teaching others how to share your story well as a leader.

We will guide you through powerful self-reflection to:

• Acknowledge Your Lineage: Understand the profound influence of your family’s journey—your parents, grandparents, and the generations before—and how their history lays the foundation for your present and your future.
• Discern Your Design: Explore how your specific background and experiences—the moments of grace and the periods of testing—have uniquely formed who you are today and the leader you are becoming, trusting that even the difficult parts serve a greater purpose.
• Claim Your Narrative: Learn to articulate your personal story, recognizing it not merely as a history, but as a source of resilience, perspective, and genuine purpose, equipping you to step into the role you are meant to fill.

This workshop is the essential first step to leading authentically and connecting with your community on a deeper, more impactful level. Come prepared to share, reflect, and discover the inherent power within your history.
